Vigil Honor Roll
 


The Vigil Honor is the third and highest level of membership in the Order. It is given to those who not only have served the lodge exceptionally over a period of time, but who are expected to continue their service in the future. Because the lodge may award only one Vigil for every 50 members, it is a high honor indeed to be chosen. The Tutelo Lodge Vigil Committee accepts nominations from all lodge members, as long as they are turned in to the committee by the Spring Ordeal in May. In order to be eligible, Arrowmen must be members in good standing of Tutelo Lodge and Blue Ridge Mountains Council and must have been Brotherhood members for at least two years. Vigil tapouts occur at the Fall Ordeal in September and most ceremonies take place at Powhatan during the Fall Fellowship in October.
