Chapter Positions:

Chapter Chief- The Chapter Chief is the highest youth position in the district in the Order of the Arrow. They oversee all committees and encourage participation in Chapter and Lodge events. They must properly represent that Chapter by giving a report to the Lodge every meeting of the Chapters progress and standings.

Chapter Vice-Chief- The Vice Chapter Chief’s jobs are similar to the Chapter Chief. They assist the Chief on any project at hand and in any way they can. In the event that the Chapter Chief is unable to perform his duties the Chapter Vice Chiefs fills in for that period.

Chapter Advisor- The Chapter Advisor is an adult position which calls that adult to encourage the youth and Chapter Chief and Advise their decisions as a whole. They help the Chapter Chief out in any way they can when asked upon.


Committees:

Unit Relations- The unit relations committee oversees both the unit election process and troop visitation for encouraging dues, brotherhood conversions and camp promotions. Their main job is to schedule the elections and organize a team of youth to go perform them. They also organize teams to go promote the BRMC’s programs as well as they encourage paid dues and brotherhood conversions.

Indian Affairs- The Indian Affairs committee encourages chapter participation in ceremonies and other affairs such as dance and drum. They communicate between the Lodge’s Indian Affairs Chairmen and supply the Lodge with any needed ceremonialists to better the candidate’s experience. They also oversee the building and maintaining of the Chapters regalia.

Communications- The Communications committee is in charge of sending out important information to all Chapter Members whether by email, telethons, or through Facebook. They also are a bridge between all other committees and Chapter Members informing them of upcoming events.

Membership- The membership committee is in charge of typing up the Chapter Meetings notes and keeping track of Chapter attendance at Chapter Meetings and at Functions and reporting them back to the Chapter Meetings. 

OA Troop Rep- This committee keeps track of who all the Troop Reps are in that district. They relay information from the Chapter and Lodge to the Troop Rep in order for the Troop Rep to take that information to their unit.  They also are in charge of getting as many troop representatives to attend the Chapter Meetings.

Service- The service committee is in charge of organizing and scheduling service days for the Chapter. This year the upcoming Chapter Chief has set a goal to top last year’s amount of chapter service.

Website- The website committee is an ad hoc committee in charge of updating and maintain the Chapters website. They post important information on the site to better inform Chapter members.
